1. Can I pay with PayPal?
Yes. Click "Buy Now" on the left menu and start the purchase process. You will be presented with the option to pay either by credit card directly on this site or by PayPal. If you choose PayPal, you will be redirected to their site for completing the transaction. Upon completing the transaction you will be automatically redirected back to this site and will arrive at a confirmation screen. Your code(s) (needed in order to retrieve the license) will be emailed to you a few hours later after manual confirmation.

2. Is paying by credit card secure?
Yes. The site is secured by an SSL connection, meaning no one can see your credit card or other details.

3. Will I get the license immediately upon payment?
Yes, if you pay at our site. If you pay by PayPal, you will get your license a few hours after the transaction is processed (because it needs manual verification). If you pat at our site, after the purchase is complete, you will get the "receipt code" on the screen and also by email. Paste this code in the "License key" screen on the software and press the button. The license will be installed in a few seconds.

After the purchase is complete, you will get the "receipt code" on the screen and also by email. Paste this code in the "License key" screen on the software and press the button. The license will be installed in a few seconds.

2. I tried activating the software but it doesn't work. What do I do?
If you have done everything per the instructions, try again. It is possible that the communication to the activation server is temporarily down. If this fails several times, go to the "license key" screen and click the link at the bottom of the screen. This will send an email with the relevant data to our support team which will register you manually and send you the license key by email.

3. How long can I use the software in trial mode?
30 days.

4. Are there limitations in the trial version?
No.

5. Can I use the software on another computer?
Yes. Simply install it and activate it normally. If you only need the trial version at this time, the registration server will give you a new 30 days license anyway. It is up to you not to exploit this (try not to do to others what you wouldn't want them to do to you). If you need to transfer your purchased license to another computer, then you need to use the same receipt code in order to activate the software at it's new location, and then uninstall the old copy. If you try using the old copy, it will not work, since each license is for 1 computer machine only.

How do I...?
1. How do I get started in using the software?
Please read the Help file provided with the software. It contains a "walkthrough" that will guide you through everything needed in order to get started.

2. How do I make the best use of all the configuration options?
This is mostly a trial and error process. You have one very good tool for this: the "send test email". You may configure the software and then try to send an email to yourself. If you fail, read the reject message and use it to change the configuration accordingly. You will learn a lot by this process, not only about how to use Email Beast, but also about the blocking mechanisms you are up against. Anyway, the Help documentation provided with the software contains lots of useful advice and data about this.

3. How can I increase the sending speed even more?
After you have configured Email Beast as best you can, and did lots of "trial and error" cycles, if you want to increase the sending speed even more, consider the following:
   a. The most important parameter in the sending speed is your connection upload speed. Increase that as your first priority.
   b. Send messages as small as possible (2-3 K is optimum).
   c. Clean your recipient list on a regular basis. Do not leave "bad", "rejected", "bounced" etc. emails on your list. If possible, make a list of only the successful emails (the ones which you have successfully sent to recently and have not bounced back).
   d. Make sure you do not send to people who have asked to be taken off the list. This is a really bad idea generally, but it also has a lot to do with your sending speed and all your sending efforts. How? If you don't do this regularly you will be the one hindering your own efforts to send and to send fast. This is a mental thing. If you don't believe, try it yourself and see.
   e. Adjust the time-out parameters. These should be as low as possible but not so low as to interrupt the actual sending. Use trial and error until it's perfect.
   f. The message itself might contain blocking-prone elements. These elements are beyond the scope of this FAQ, but you can use "send test email" in order to test various message formats.

4. What sending speed is considered "good" with Email Beast?
That depends on your connection upload speed.
On a 0.5M upload speed - 17,000 emails an hour is good.
On a 256Kb upload speed - 10,000 emails an hour is good.
Note that we're referring only to the first sending round. Each consecutive round will ,of course, be slower from the one before it.

5. I have lots of failed addresses from a different software. Will Email Beast be able to send them with direct sending?
Mostly yes. Not all. Some email addresses are impervious to direct sending by a blocking mechanism which blocks ALL direct traffic. To those you will have to send via an SMTP server. But many of the emails which other bulk email software products consider "bad" are indeed good with Email Beast (actual tests have been done on this).

Other technical issues
1. I have set everything up as instructed on the Help document but I cannot send emails at all. What is wrong?
Check the following:
   a. Can you send email by regular means (by Outlook for example)? If not, then fix this problem first. You can also use one of the following points.
   b. Your avti-virus program or firewall program may be blocking outgoing emails. Many of them do this. Disable these blocks.
   c. In order to check if your ISP has blocked your port 25 (the route by which all email traffic goes out of your computer), do the following: Go to START -> RUN, then type CMD and Enter, then type:
telnet smtp.mail.yahoo.com 25
if you get a bank screen with a message at the top like this:
220 smtp105.plus.mail.re1.yahoo.com ESMTP
then this means that your port 25 is not blocked. Otherwise it means that it might be blocked. If it is, contact your ISP (you may need to switch ISP at this point). Anyway this will only happen if you send SPAM or at least suspected or complained about.

2. I marked the option to activate the exclution list.  Will this list be processed every time I stop sending and make a little change and then restart the sending?
Of course not. After you have processed the exclusion list once, the program remembers this. You only need to reprocess it if you change (add to) the recipients database or the exclusion list itself. Also, in case you want to add to the exclusion list, you can save the current list and open a new one and process only that. It will then mark the REST of the emails to be excluded during the next exclusion processing. Remember: once an email in the database has been marked as "excluded" it will remain so until the status is reset by the user.

3. I want to work on the computer from a remote location but the software hangs up the connection every few minutes and then reconnects. I cannot work like this. Is there a way to make it disconnect less frequently?
Yes. Go to the "Manual control" tab and change the setting "Minimum time between internet disconnections" to a lange number like 3600 (that would give you a full hour between disconnections. Just remember that this will hinder the sending speed, so return the setting to it's previous state after you are finished working). Of course, you can also disable disconnection completely at the configuration screen. Just remember to reactivate it when done working from the remote location.

4. Can the software work without any dialers?
Yes. But by having no dialers and using a constant LAN connection for example, the software is prevented from utilizing one of it's primary features - the IP change mechanism. You are advised not to do that, since you will be seriously blocked after a short period of time - by your IP address.

5. If the program changes IP every few minutes, wouldn't the IP pool of my ISP be exhausted after a while?
No. Most IP blocking lists such as SpamCop and SpamHaus delete an IP address from their list if there have been no complaints about it for 24 hours.
